TECHNOLOGY FESTIVAL
PROGRAMME
11am to 4.30pm
Saturday 8th October 2011
Welcome to our Technology Festival. We hope you enjoy the day and leave feeling inspired!
To help you, each stand is colour coded according to level of ability.
Beginners (Green) – includes: use a mouse; navigate the internet; find out how to get online.
Intermediates (Orange) – includes: build a webpage or a website; editing home movies; see smartphones.
Advanced (Blue) – includes: talk to the expert on PC Security; see whether an I-Pad is for you; download free Software for a variety of applications
For all levels and families – try geocaching; visit the Comput@bus; read a kindle; enjoy Wii Fit on the stage. Understand how young children react to technology from their surroundings.
What’s next? /Here to help – many of our participants are keen to help you on the next stage whether by joining a course, attending the library or by just by showing you what’s out there to try.
Raffle - will be drawn at 16.00. The first prize of an Ipod shuffle was donated by WorcsCC/Evesham Library.
